Ingredients

  • 1 cup savoy cabbage
  • 1 cup french beans
  • 18 cloves garlic - 4 cl
  • 1 Onions
  • 1 Capsicum
  • 5 tbsp Brown Bread
  • 7 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 red carrots
  • 7 Green Chilies
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 50 ml Olive Oil

    Take 1 cup cabbage in a bowl

    Finely chop 1 carrot and add it to the mixture.

    Add 1 cup french beans to it.

    Add 1 tsp soya sauce to the mixture.

    Add 1 tsp black pepper to the mixture

    Give the mixture a quick mix.

    Start adding flour the mixture. Add flour the mixture in smaller steps and mix everything together.

    Keep adding flour till the mixture binds together well.

    Make small balls from the mixture depending on the size of the manchurian you want

    Time to deep fry the manchurian balls. Take oil in a pan and start heating it.

    After the oil is hot start adding manchurian balls to it.

    You can add as many manchurian balls so as to cover the whole pan.

    Fry the manchurian balls from all sides. Flip them over from time to time to fry all sides evenly.

    Stop cooking the manchurian balls when they turn golden brown. Remove them from the oil and keep them aside. We will add them to the gravy after we prepare it.

    Time to prepare the gravy. Take 2 tbsp cornflour in a bowl and add 2 tbsp water to it to make a slurry. Keep it aside.

    Take 2 tbsp oil in a pan and start heating it.

    Once heated add 16-18 garlic cloves to it.

    Add green chilies to the mixture.

    Add green onions, bell peppers and general purpose onions to the mixture and cook the mixture for a minute

    Add 2 tbsp tomato sauce and 2 tbsp soya sauce to the mixture. If you are using light soya sauce, you will need to add more of it. Add 1 tbsp red chili sauce and 1 tsp vinegar to the mixture

    Mix everything together

    Start adding water to the mixture.

    Add 2 cups of water the mixture while mixing everything together.

    Add salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper to the mixture. Be careful while adding salt as the mixture we have made is already salty due to adding soya sauce earlier. Cook the mixture till we get a boil.

    After we get a boil add the corn flour syrup to the mixture. Cook the mixture for few minutes so that the corn flour we have added is cooked properly

    Add 1 tsp of sugar to the mixture in order to balance the flavours. After a few minutes the gravy will become thick. Time to add the manchurian balls to the mixture

    Add the Manchurian balls to the mixture and cook for a couple of minutes
